Celebrating Style, Spirit, and Community with Living Resources

This past Sunday, we were reminded once again why we love what we do. Union Hall Supply Co. had the honor of styling four gentlemen of Living Resources for their annual fashion show at the beautiful 1863 Club. It’s an event that has quickly become one of the highlights of our year — not just because of the style, but because of the spirit.

Each time we step into this event, we’re reminded that fashion is about so much more than clothing. It’s about confidence, expression, and celebrating individuality. Seeing these young men take the runway with pride is a moment that never fails to inspire us, and we feel privileged to play even a small role in helping them shine.

We owe a special thank you to Natalie Sillery of Saratoga Trunk for her tireless dedication to this community. Her vision and hard work bring this fashion show to life each year, and we are truly grateful to be part of it.

This year, we also had the joy of going behind the scenes with our Master Stylist, Stacey, as she worked her magic preparing our four friends — Ra'Kwon, Jesse, David, and Christian — for the runway. From choosing the right fits to adding those finishing touches, Stacey brought her signature mix of expertise and encouragement to make sure each of them felt confident and ready to shine. The energy backstage was filled with excitement, laughter, and a genuine sense of camaraderie that carried through to the runway.

But the heart of this event belongs to Living Resources. Their mission is to support and empower individuals with disabilities or other life-challenging conditions to live with dignity, independence, and purpose. With a dedicated staff of more than 700 and programs that touch the lives of over 1,800 families and individuals, Living Resources embodies what it means to nurture growth, independence, and happiness — always recognizing that each person’s journey is unique.

For us at Union Hall Supply Co., the fashion show is more than an event — it’s a celebration of style, community, and human resilience. Every time we help dress these young men, we’re reminded that confidence comes from within, and that clothing can be a tool for empowerment.
